NavSearch is a local index search engine that allows the user to index text and html files stored in specific directories, which enables them to perform fast, powerful, boolean supported keyword searches anytime to easily locate needed documents.

CD-ROM Publishers and HyperText authors can provide this tool to their readers to provide convenient data retrieval and content searching functions. Readers may then perform index search for keywords or phrases at lightning speed and have the results displayed with summaries in their default web browser.

NavSearch is very easy to install, all you need is a single EXE file. There is no server needs to be configured. NavSearch requires minimal amount of memory and disk space (<1M full installation!), runs very fast even on a 386 machine.
